By practicing goal setting, students develop skills that help them stay focused, manage their time effectively, and achieve their personal and academic goals.
We’re excited to see the meaningful goals our Apaches set for themselves this month! 💛🖤

🎨 Students broke out the Play-Doh and got creative—sculpting symbols of the needs highlighted in the story.
🎤 The best part? Sharing their creations with the class and explaining how they connected to survival, growth, and success.
Super proud of the thought, creativity, and fun they brought to this lesson! 🙌✨

One of our favorite PHS traditions is Welcome Wagon! 🎉 We invite students who are new to our school district to connect over an informal breakfast with the cheerleaders and Student Coalition. 🥞📣This year, twenty new students met with school leaders, received some Pottsville swag, and were officially welcomed as the newest members of our tribe. 💛🖤 We’re so glad you’re here! #OurTribeStory

Join us for Parent-Teacher Conferences and enter for a chance to win goodies from our amazing local businesses 🎁✨
We can’t wait to connect with you and celebrate our students’ progress together!

FFA livestock projects are often years in the making, and our students have shown incredible grit, dedication, and hard work. We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments and the way they represent Pottsville! 💛 #ApacheFFA #PopeCountyFair #GritAndGrowth

Meet Mr. Otterton, our very own “emotional support animal” who is otterly the best at bringing smiles and community to PHS. 🦦 Thanks to Mrs. Reid, the Mr. Otterton Scavenger Hunt is still going strong in week six of school! 🎉 Apaches who find him (and then re-hide him) earn Sonic gift cards and plenty of bragging rights. 🍹✨ You never know what shenanigans you’ll stumble across on the PHS campus—but one thing is certain: Mr. Otterton keeps the fun alive! 🖤 #OurTribeStory

📸 All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will take school pictures this Tuesday, September 16! Choose your favorite outfit, bring your best smile, and get ready to shine. 💛🖤 #OurTribeStory

Her goal is to ensure that every PHS graduate has a clear plan for the day after graduation—whether they choose to enroll, enlist, or employ. Casey works tirelessly to help our Apaches take their next step with confidence! 💛🖤 #OurTribeStory

Mrs. Riley asked her students to reflect on their school year and ambitions, and the results are inspiring. A big thanks to Kynzengten and Brooklynn for helping create the beautiful display that shares these stories with our school! 💛🖤 #OurTribeStory

From service projects 🤝 to meeting students across the state 🌎 to bringing history to life at Potts Inn 🏛️, our Apaches have so many ways to get involved.
In Apache Country, every member of our tribe has a spot to belong! 💛🖤 #OurTribeStory

What a week, tribe! Let’s do it all again on Monday! 🎉 #OurTribeStory

We are so grateful for our partners at St. Mary’s who generously shared their time and knowledge with PHS. Opportunities like this help our Apaches grow in confidence, responsibility, and real-world readiness. 🖤💛 #OurTribeStory

PHS student Devan Choate got a special surprise from Arkansas author Eli Cranor—an autographed copy of his novel Don't Know Tough! 📚✍️ Eli encouraged Devan to “keep reading,” a message we know will inspire him for years to come. 💛 What an amazing moment of connection between a writer and a young reader (and the teacher that made it happen: Mrs. Millsaps)! 🌟 #OurTribeStory
