As the PHS EAST team prepares for their upcoming state conference, we want to give them a well-deserved shout out for the many small problems they’ve noticed—and solved—along the way.

Pottsville High School freshmen had the opportunity to experience the Be Pro Be Proud Mobile Workshop today! 🚚🔧

Students explored skilled and high-demand careers in Arkansas through hands-on simulators and interactive experiences that showcased careers in fields such as construction, manufacturing, transportation, and utilities.

They had a great time learning about career pathways that can lead to strong, rewarding careers right here in Arkansas!

With the ACT right around the corner on March 10, our PHS juniors had the chance to sharpen their skills during a three-hour ACT Bootcamp organized by Career Coach Mrs. Beavers. Experts from Huntington Learning Center led the session, sharing helpful testing strategies, key reminders (like math formulas and grammar rules), and practical time-management tips to help students feel confident and prepared. It was quite the marathon of instruction—and the cute t-shirts were an added bonus! 👕📚 Thank you, Mrs. Beavers, for organizing such a great opportunity for our students. When a colleague shows up with gluten-free cookies at just the right moment, a little recognition is the least one can do. Students in class today were preparing to draft revolutionary astronomers for a research project that will eventually compete in a March Madness-style bracket to determine who was the most influential. 🔭✨

To determine the draft order, students were given a piece of paper and 60 seconds to build a paper airplane. The distance their airplanes flew determined their draft picks! ✈️

Clint and Patsy Hull lost their home of 50 years in a fire Tuesday night. Clint Hull has served on our school board for 44 years and has been a steady, faithful leader in our schools and our community. Now it is our turn to show up for him and his family.🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛

Kindness Week was full of fun activities, and one of the favorites was creating “kindness pins” to share with friends! 💛✨ Mrs. Storm organized the materials and helped spark all that creativity, making it easy for students to spread encouragement across campus.
