PHS celebrated twenty-two students who earned Platinum on their WorkKeys test with a well-deserved Pasta Grill lunch! 🍝🎉 According to ACT, students who earn the Platinum level demonstrate the foundational skills required for 99% of jobs listed in the O*NET database. This is a top-tier credential, achieved by less than 1% of students nationwide—and we had twenty-two earn it in just one semester! 🌟💛

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 for winning the (No) Tardy Party for the second quarter! 🎉⏰ With an average of just 1.2 tardies per student, these seniors earned a full hour to play games 🃏, enjoy crafts 🎨, and work up a sweat on the court 🏀💪. In celebration of Computer Science Week, Mrs. Reid took a group of PHS students to a digital Capture the Flag competition, where they faced off against 30 other teams! 💻🚩 In their very first competition, Landon Sanders, MacKenzie Brown, Neveah Mead-New, and Audrey Anderson earned an impressive second-place finish! 🥈👏 What an incredible accomplishment for these Apaches. Mr. Dewey shared his livestock expertise with students this week, walking them through the anatomy and care of a lamb during a live, hands-on demonstration. 🐑✨ Experiences like this are a cornerstone of PHS and our strong agricultural programs.
