Shout out to Ryley Hemba for making a difference on the PHS campus! 🌟 His kindness, positive attitude, and willingness to help others truly stand out. 💛🖤We’re proud of students like Ryley who lead by example and make our tribe stronger every day. 👏 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

How cute is this bulletin board?! 🎨✨ Pre-Educator student Campbell Leak created a brand-new board for Mrs. Simpson—and we absolutely love it! 💛Thanks, Campbell, for using your creativity (and pre-teacher superpowers!) to add a little fun and color to our hallways. 🖤 Our tribe is lucky to have you! #OurTribeStory

Brody Blasingame represents our Apache tribe with his generous and kind attitude. 💛 When a classmate needed a drink, Brody didn’t hesitate—he stepped in to cover the cost. 🥤 Mrs. Flemmons noticed his thoughtfulness, making Brody the latest member of our tribe to be “caught” being good! 🖤 Way to go, Brody—your kindness makes Pottsville High School a better place! 🌟 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

Jostens will be closing the Fall Order Program for Pottsville seniors today (Wednesday, October 29th) at midnight. Orders can be submitted online through www.jostens.com. Once the transition to the Spring Program is completed, orders will still be accepted; however, full payment will be required at the time of purchase. There also may be some items that will no longer be available for purchase, such as the tankard if available for Pottsville. This transition will not change the price of the cap and gown unit at this time.

Just look at Addie Potts go! 🌟 She showed her lamb at the State Fair and took home the win—and before we could blink, she was named the Farm Bureau Ag Student of the Month! 🐑🏆Mrs. Vaught and the entire PHS faculty and family couldn’t be prouder. 💛🖤 We can’t wait to see what Addie accomplishes next! 👏 #OurTribeStory

How about those Apaches with perfect attendance for the first quarter?! 🎉 We had nearly eighty students who qualified—what an incredible accomplishment! 💛🖤Let’s celebrate these students who consistently show up, day after day, giving their best effort and setting the example for others to follow. Way to go, Apaches! 👏 #OurTribeStory

Mrs. Hurlbut “caught” Brooke being good when she stopped to help a classmate gather up all the colored pencils that had scattered across the history classroom floor. ✏️💛 Brooke’s kindness and quick willingness to help are perfect examples of the Apache spirit we love to see at PHS. 🖤 Thank you, Brooke, for making our school an even better place! 🌟 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

Fall sports are wrapping up with a few trips this week. Show your support for your favorite athletes. Let's get LOUD, Apache Fans!!

Connor Freeland showed what it means to be a true Apache when he lent his computer to a classmate so they could both finish their Personal Communications assignment. 💻💛 This simple act of selflessness is the type of kindness that makes PHS such a special place. Thank you, Connor, for leading by example and showing what teamwork looks like in action! 🖤 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

Mrs. Deramus “caught” Aubri being good when she picked up trash in the hallway—trash that wasn’t even hers! 🧹💛 Small acts of kindness like this make a big difference in keeping our school beautiful and our tribe strong. Thank you, Aubri, for your pride in PHS and for being such a positive member of our community! 🖤 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

Sophia Robison, a Pre-Educator student at PHS, impressed Mrs. B with her poster-making (and upper-level-thinking) skills! 🎨✨ This creative and thoughtful project is just one example of the incredible potential our future educators are showing every day. Here’s to the future of education, folks—we’re proud to “grow our own” right here in Pottsville! 💛🖤 #FutureTeachers #OurTribeStory

Huge shoutout to the Pottsville High School Marching Band for earning all 1s at regionals! Next stop: STATE on November 3rd! Congrats to these amazing students and directors, we are proud of you!
To celebrate our students’ love of reading, PHS media specialist Mrs. Mary Adkins organizes a quarterly Point Joint—a favorite Apache tradition! 📚✨ Students can spend their hard-earned reading points to “purchase” all the trinkets and snacks their hearts desire. Our amazing mama volunteers showed up to stock the goodies and help students check out their treasures. 💛🖤 Such a fun way to make finishing that novel even sweeter! 🍬📖 #OurTribeStory
