Students in 7th grade science have been learning about chemical and physical properties of matter. They added a catalyst to make this exothermic reaction possible within a class period.

Journalism students visited Ouachita Baptist University for High School Sports Media Day. Throughout the day students joined sessions with professionals in the industry to learn more about sports media.

Pottsville has amazing alumni! During an IV session students had the opportunity to meet Clayton Freeman and learn about the field of aviation.


Our 7th graders recently visited Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville where they enjoyed the "Art and Science" tour and also hiked some of the many nature trails.











Students have been learning about the states of matter, thermal energy, and kinetic energy. They demonstrated their understanding by conducting a glow stick lab. What 'bright' futures these outstanding scholars have!


During one session of our IV time, students created heartfelt Thank You cards to be delivered to our local Veterans Affairs (VA) center. We are proud to express our gratitude to those who have served our country!

Students in Mrs. Fields' 7th grade Social Studies classes cast their vote for the presidential candidate of their choice and received "I voted today" stickers. They also learned about the Electoral College through an interactive game called "Race to 270!" Real-world applications are always part of the lessons in Mrs. Fields' classes!






PJHS FBLA is selling Arkansas made ground coffee. Coffee makes great Christmas gifts. Please see an FBLA member or Mrs Prince to order. Orders will be taken until November 22 and delivered before Christmas break.



The PJHS Christian Student Union (CSU) is collecting donations of new items to pack inside shoeboxes which will be sent to children all over the world. Please take items to Mrs. Field's' classroom (room 304) before November 21st. Apache Showcase Nov 4th 5-8


Pottsville Junior High FBLA attended the District V MS FBLA Fall Conference today in Conway at UCA. We had a great time and listened to a great motivational speaker, Brandon Lee White.
Grahm got 3rd place in Battle of the Chapters! And Ethan and Angela won door prizes!
