Parents/Guardians: State ATLAS scores from school year 23-24 (Grades 4-11) were sent home with students today and also emailed to parents/guardians. If you do not receive the information in email by 10-24-24-- please contact jennifer.curry@pottsvilleschools.org to make sure your email address on file is current. Mrs. Genevie Strickland, Assistant Director of the Morgan Nick Foundation, spoke to all PJHS students during their Social Studies classes this week about the dangers of the internet and how to ensure their safety online. We are extremely grateful to her for sharing such important information with our students!

We have recently received reports of a threat made toward Pottsville Junior High on social media. Please know that we are taking this matter very seriously and are currently investigating the situation thoroughly.
In light of this, we will be implementing extra safety precautions over the next few days to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.
If you ever hear of any threats or rumors of threats, please call and let us know. Your vigilance is crucial in helping us maintain a safe environment.

Additionally, See You at the Pole will now take place in individual school buildings. At the high school, it will be held in the Commons area, while at the junior high, it will meet in the library. Both events will start at 7:45 AM
