Mrs. Brooka Potts presented Bailey Cain with her second "caught being good" button for Bailey's willingness to say the daily pledge and read the announcements for PHS. Bailey's on a roll, folks!
This group of sophomores celebrated the season and their friendship with a Friendsgiving meal in the PHS cafeteria. Homemade tamales, roasted chicken, chilled Dr. Peppers--these boys were raised right!

Chris Turic volunteered to feed the Unified softball team before their tournament, and he spoiled them with a fantastic brunch. PHS (and Owen!) appreciates all that Mr. Turic does for our district.

PHS faculty and staff had a fierce Thanksgiving coloring competition, and Mr. Dean--with a little help from Lynna Dean--won a $10 Sonic gift card for the winning artwork. We hope the ice cream was yummy, Lynna!

PHS student Jillian Hamm presented Ms. Falls with a "caught being good" button (teacher edition). Jillian appreciates all the extra help Ms. Falls offers her students and wants to celebrate her!

Our basketball teams swept Rose Bud to start off Pottsville's Thanksgiving break. Apache fans look forward to a fun and successful season!

In one of the best collaborations in PHS history, Ms. Falls and her students invited Mrs. Hare's kiddos into the science lab for a carousel of cell lessons. Shout out to all the students, who worked so well together and made their teachers smile!

PHS Marching Apache Band takes first place! So much hard work, and so many talented musicians!

Students in Forensic Science practiced their sketching abilities by drawing their classmates' faces. Some renderings were a little more recognizable than others. :)

Ms. Nelson's art classes continue the PHS theme (toad-ally the best school!) with their group artwork. Our students have created a gallery in the hallways; these artists are so talented and creative!

Mrs. Kendrick's science students participated in "the survivor curve" project, looking for the right characteristics for a bubble to increase its survival rate. A fun way to test a hypothesis!
