PHS History Club kicked off the year with Butterfield Day in downtown Pottsville. Our students brought the past to life by giving tours of the historic Potts Inn and diving deeper into the rich history of our community.
This year’s event was especially meaningful, as a new sign was unveiled to honor the enslaved people who built and lived at Potts Inn—a powerful reminder of the stories that shape our history.
A huge thank you to Jane Pittman for providing pizza for our club members, and to everyone at Potts Inn for welcoming us and helping history live on for a new generation.

Mrs. Vaught and her CASE Engineering students took on a (not-so-friendly 😉) challenge to see whose windmill could rotate a dangling cup the fastest! 🌬️⚙️ JC and Brady had a strong prototype, but several groups were right on their heels. Hands-on projects like this are what make learning come alive—our Apaches are building teamwork, problem-solving, and design skills that will prepare them for whatever goals they pursue after graduation. 💛🖤 We love our Ag Department! 🌟 #OurTribeStory
