A group of PHS Beta students brought history to life last Friday as they shared stories of Potts Inn and Pottsville lore with third graders! 📜🏡 The younger students had a blast—almost as much as the big kids! 😆 Huge thanks to Mr. Smith, Beta sponsor, and Emma Moore for making this exciting field trip a reality. 🎉👏 #OurTribeStory

PHS Hope Squad sponsored "Team Tuesday," encouraging students to wear their favorite team jerseys and work together through fun outdoor games like football and baggo. It was a great way to build school spirit and strengthen our sense of community! 🏈🎯 #OurTribeStory

It's a Gatsby Party! Students in Mrs. Brownlee's Junior English and AP Language classes completed an escape room to review The Great Gatsby Chapters 1-3. Groups names were Gatsby themed, such as "The Green Light Gang" and "The Flapperettes." Each group completed challenges on characters/setting, literary devices, and literary analysis.

Mrs. Sullivan's students put their Statistics knowledge to the test with a Barbie Bungee Jump experiment! Using calculations and data analysis, they predicted the perfect number of rubber bands for Barbie’s daring plunge. No Barbies were harmed in the making of this lesson, but we sure had fun watching her take the leap! 😆👏 #OurTribeStory

🎨💙 Team Unified is up to their latest shenanigans! These PHS students are hard at work on a **U for Unified** spring project. Mrs. Hare printed out color sheets, and students across campus added their artistic flair to show support for Unified. Love seeing our Apaches come together to celebrate inclusion and creativity! 💛👏 #OurTribeStory

Good luck to our archers competing in the State Tournament on Saturday!

📚✨ Students who met their AR goals get to shop for treasures in Point Joint! Each grading period, Pottsville high schoolers read books to earn points and strengthen their reading skills. A huge percentage of PHS students read at a college level, and AR plays a major role in that achievement! Way to go, Apaches! 👏📖 #OurTribeStory
