Sometimes the best learning happens away from a screen — hands-on activities help students build essential skills in a deeper, more meaningful way.

🔥 The Crucible Escape Room: Can You Escape Hysteria? 🔥
Today, Mrs. Brownlee’s Junior English students put their The Crucible knowledge (and their teamwork skills!) to the test as they raced through a series of challenges to break free from Salem’s hysteria.
🕵️♂️From unraveling allegories to spotting literary devices, they earned every clue and key that moved them closer to escape.
🏆 Congrats to our top teams who escaped with time to spare and claimed the much-coveted Brownlee Bucks!
So proud of the effort, the teamwork, and the dramatic flair worthy of Miller himself. ✨

Lots of Basketball going on this week. Go Apaches!

Thank goodness for Officer Garza, who saved the day last Tuesday night when he turned off the fire alarm! 🚨 The basketball game was briefly on hold until this PHS hero worked his magic and got everything back on track.
Mrs. Hare couldn’t help but “catch” Officer Garza being good at his job—keeping our campus safe and our events running smoothly. 💛🖤 Thank you, Officer Garza! #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

Congratulations to JC Jones for making it official today! We can't wait to watch you next year as a Wonderboy.

On Wednesday, our students participated in the UAMS “Find Your Future in Healthcare” virtual event. They heard from professionals in EMT, nursing, radiology, PT/OT, and pharmacy, and even took part in hands-on dissection and pharmacy activities.
We’re proud of their curiosity and excitement for exploring healthcare careers! 💙🩺

It's about that time...for some Apache Basketball! Our football team is also traveling this week for our first playoff game. Go Apaches!!

Lacee Potts packed Boo Bags for PHS faculty and staff, organizing the goodies over several sessions and spreading smiles all over campus! 🎃🍬Thank you, Lacee, for making the season a little bit sweeter and showing what Apache kindness looks like in action. 💛🖤 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

Senior Nate Puckett is one of the kindest, most helpful students on the PHS campus! 💛 He recently noticed an abandoned lunch tray and picked it up—without anyone asking. 🍽️ It’s small acts of service like this that make a big difference in keeping our school clean, welcoming, and full of Apache pride. 🖤 Thank you, Nate, for being the kind of student who notices and then does! 👏 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory
