November Students of the Month! 🎉
These four outstanding students—Ellis Haney, Hazel Gonzales-Flores, Harlow Reynolds, and McKynlee Staggs—truly personify the Pottsville Tribe. They are leaders, hard workers, and kind humans who make our district a better place every single day. 🖤💛✨ PSD celebrates you and all the ways you make Apache Country shine! #OurTribeStory

Senior Internship Spotlight!!
Kyanna is working as a Internship student at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center!

Point Joint is December 10th! If you would like to contribute and make this another great experience for our students, please bring donations to the PHS Library by Monday, Dec. 8th. We appreciate all of your support in growing lifelong readers. #pottsvillereads

Michael Sweeney and Kaleb Stancil volunteered to set up and decorate the Angel Tree in the PHS foyer 🎄✨. This holiday tradition—one that helps provide Christmas for Pottsville families—is made even sweeter by these two young men, whose servant hearts and capable hands make our campus shine 🎁❤️. Mrs. Riley couldn’t help but “catch” them being good! 🙌🖤💛 (FYI: Angel Tree gifts are due December 10!)

It's cold outside! How about some wrestling and basketball to warm things up?! Go Apaches!

These young men kicked off a Friendsgiving tradition last year, and this year they stepped up their game with a checkered tablecloth, “fancy clothes,” and a pizza feast to celebrate the 2025 Thanksgiving season. 🍕🦃 We love traditions—and celebrations—and we only embarrassed them a little for a quick picture! See you next year, gentlemen… senior year! 👔📸🖤💛 #OurTribeStory
Mason Reid helped Mrs. Talley clean up after a dropped egg experiment, and this helpful act earned him a well-deserved “caught being good” button! 🥚✨ His willingness to jump in and assist made Mrs. Talley’s day—and ours too. Great job, Mason! 👏🖤💛 #OurTribeStory

Just when they wrap up an incredible run at BOA Grand Nationals, the Marching Apaches jump right into concert season! 🎶✨ First up: Christmas concert rehearsals! These talented musicians don’t miss a beat, and we can’t wait to celebrate the holidays with them. 🎄🖤💛

You may not know this, but Mrs. Sullivan will be coaching a Winter Guard team for the next few months—including a competition in Tulsa! 🎉✨ PHS students can try out, build those arm muscles, and help perfect one of the most important elements of the Marching Apaches. 💪🎗️ We can’t wait to see this year’s performance! 🖤💛 #OurTribeStory

Mr. Hardaway "caught" Peyton being good when he stocked the teacher workroom with boxes of copy paper. 📦💪 Peyton is new to the PHS campus this year, but the general consensus is clear—he’s already a campus-wide favorite! Respectful, kind, hardworking, and always willing to help. Thanks for joining our tribe, Peyton! We’re so glad you’re an Apache. 🖤💛#OurTribeStory

PHS faculty and staff celebrated the sixty-seventh day of school with a little fun! 🎉
Check out these creative 67 shirts—we’re always up for a good excuse to dress up, snap a group picture, and enjoy being part of this amazing tribe! 🖤💛#OurTribeStory

Mrs. Perez “caught” Brynlee Myrick being good when she offered to help her classmates in geometry class. 📐✨ Since Brynlee was caught up on her own assignments, she selflessly took the time to coach her peers through their final work before progress reports.
Thank you, Brynlee, for your kindness, leadership, and willingness to lift others up. 💛🖤 You make our tribe stronger! #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

Kinleigh Adkison earned her first “caught being good” button of the year when Mrs. Hare noticed Kinleigh and Kylie Bosold working together. 💛 These two friends make a fantastic pair—hard-working, supportive, and always willing to make our campus a better place to be. 🖤
Way to go, Kinleigh and Kylie! Keep shining, ladies! 🌟 #CaughtBeingGood #OurTribeStory

10th grader, Zoe Williams, is our newest million word reader. Congratulations! #pottsvillereads

Pottsville School District earns a B rating.

Reading a great book? Apaches at PHS sure are! 📚✨ One of the many things that makes our high school unique is the twenty minutes of silent, sustained reading our students enjoy every day.
Pottsville teens are always ready with a good book recommendation 📖💬 and an update on how many AR points they’ve earned. (And in case you need a reminder…the AR deadline is December 5! ⏳)
Let’s get busy, people—happy reading! 💛🖤 #OurTribeStory
