Michael Sweeney and Kaleb Stancil volunteered to set up and decorate the Angel Tree in the PHS foyer 🎄✨. This holiday tradition—one that helps provide Christmas for Pottsville families—is made even sweeter by these two young men, whose servant hearts and capable hands make our campus shine 🎁❤️. Mrs. Riley couldn’t help but “catch” them being good! 🙌🖤💛 (FYI: Angel Tree gifts are due December 10!)

These young men kicked off a Friendsgiving tradition last year, and this year they stepped up their game with a checkered tablecloth, “fancy clothes,” and a pizza feast to celebrate the 2025 Thanksgiving season. 🍕🦃 We love traditions—and celebrations—and we only embarrassed them a little for a quick picture! Just when they wrap up an incredible run at BOA Grand Nationals, the Marching Apaches jump right into concert season! 🎶✨ First up: Christmas concert rehearsals! These talented musicians don’t miss a beat, and we can’t wait to celebrate the holidays with them. 🎄🖤💛

You may not know this, but Mrs. Sullivan will be coaching a Winter Guard team for the next few months—including a competition in Tulsa! 🎉✨ PHS students can try out, build those arm muscles, and help perfect one of the most important elements of the Marching Apaches. 💪🎗️ We can’t wait to see this year’s performance! 🖤💛 #OurTribeStory

Mrs. Perez “caught” Brynlee Myrick being good when she offered to help her classmates in geometry class. 📐✨ Since Brynlee was caught up on her own assignments, she selflessly took the time to coach her peers through their final work before progress reports.

River Valley Food 4 Kids is hosting a special holiday distribution on Tuesday, November 25 for school-aged kids (ages 3–18) in the River Valley!
📍 Locations & Times:
• RVF4K Warehouse: 4–6 PM
• Danville First Baptist Church: 4–5:30 PM
• Clarksville First United Methodist: 4–6 PM
✨ What’s included:
✔️ Holiday break food
✔️ Kid-friendly snacks
✔️ FREE for all school-aged kids in the River Valley

Reading a great book? Apaches at PHS sure are! 📚✨ One of the many things that makes our high school unique is the twenty minutes of silent, sustained reading our students enjoy every day.

Pottsville teens are always ready with a good book recommendation 📖💬 and an update on how many AR points they’ve earned. (And in case you need a reminder…the AR deadline is December 5! ⏳)
