On Tuesday, PHS seniors signed the "graduation promise" by autographing a gown. Jostens will be on campus this week to collect cap and gown orders. We love our seniors!

PHS teachers and staff were spoiled at last week's conferences by Emma Moore, who brought us two dozen of her homemade cinnamon rolls. Emma now has celebrity status!

Pottsville High School Homecoming Ceremony will take place on Friday, September 27 at 6:30pm at John Needham Stadium. Senior Maids are Landry Cook, Emerson Corbin, and Mayli Martin. Junior Maids are Karsyn Lane and Kylee Mathis. Sophomore Maids are Grace Berry and Carsyn Hardy. The 2024 Homecoming Queen will be announced at the ceremony on Friday night at 6:30pm, followed by the Pottsville Apaches vs. the Mena Bearcats at 7:00.

A HUGE thank you to the Pottsville Police Department, Arkansas State Police, Pope County Sheriff's Department, our amazing School Resource Officers, and our dedicated teachers and staff! Your children's safety is our top priority, and we are continuing to implement additional safety measures to ensure a secure environment.

We have recently received reports of a threat made toward Pottsville Junior High on social media. Please know that we are taking this matter very seriously and are currently investigating the situation thoroughly.
In light of this, we will be implementing extra safety precautions over the next few days to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.
If you ever hear of any threats or rumors of threats, please call and let us know. Your vigilance is crucial in helping us maintain a safe environment.

Additionally, See You at the Pole will now take place in individual school buildings. At the high school, it will be held in the Commons area, while at the junior high, it will meet in the library. Both events will start at 7:45 AM

🎨Our PHS Spanish III students worked hard creating a vibrant board decoration to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. 🌎 Their creativity and teamwork shined as they honored rich cultures and traditions of the Spanish-speaking world.
