Leadership & Service Learning students in Ms. Rollans class delivered 45 learning dolls to Arkansas Children's Hospital in LR. The dolls will be used to explain procedures to patients and parents. Great job Jaystin, VC, Evie, and Lilyana and thank you for all your hard work.

PJHS FCCLA still has a limited supply of blankets for purchase. The Apache blankets would make a wonderful graduation gift or techer gift for the end of the year. Contact Susan Rollans at susan.rollans@pottsvilleschools.org to make your purchase. Price has been dropped to $25.

Students in Ms. Rollans Leadership & Service Learning class visted River Valley Food 4 Kids recently to volunteer. Students learned to package food items for distribution and helped load vehicles with the food being taken to local schools for distribution. Thank you RVF4K for letting PJHS students help.

Fun times in 7th grade Social Studies class! Students recently learned proper U.S. flag etiquette, and they had the opportunity to try their hand at folding a flag correctly. Some students were surprised to learn that the triangular shape resembles a three-cornered hat worn by soldiers in the Revolutionary War. 🇺🇸 🖤💛

The Pottsville School District storm shelters at the jr high and high school will be open if there is a tornado warning issued later tonight. Unfortunately at this time the elementary safe room is still without electricity and unavailable at this time.

ALL Pottsville Schools will dismiss 2 hours early due to incoming storms and lack of power at two safe rooms.
