This is my fifteenth year to teach secondary math and my thirteenth year to teach at Pottsville. I have taught or currently teach Algebra 1, Transitions to College Mathematics, Geometry, and Statistics.

Welcome to my website! My name is Cresha Sweeden and I would like you to know how excited and pleased I am to be teaching your child at Pottsville High School. I will be teaching geometry and statistics this year.

My goal is to prepare your child for success in college or whatever career path they may choose after graduating from high school. I believe working together and working hard we can make lifelong learners and successful adults out of our kids.

To keep you informed of upcoming test dates, project due dates, etc. I have created a 'Remind' account for each of my classes. 'Remind' is a way for me to send out texts with important information, however you cannot reply to that number. If you need to get a hold of me personally please feel free to contact me at the high school during my planning period from 12:40 - 1:30 or by email. Your child was given a letter explaining how you can sign up to receive my notifications from 'Remind'. If you need another copy please let me know.
