This is my twelfth year to teach secondary math and my tenth year to teach at Pottsville. I have taught or currently teach Algebra 1, Transitions to College Mathematics, Geometry, and Statistics.

Welcome to my website! My name is Cresha Sweeden and I would like you to know how excited and pleased I am to be teaching your child at Pottsville High School. I teach geometry, statistics, math credit-recovery, and math enrichment.

My goal is to prepare your child for success in college or whatever career path they may choose after graduating from high school. I believe working together and working hard we can make lifelong learners and successful adults out of our kids.

To keep you informed of upcoming test dates, project due dates, etc. I have created a 'Remind' account for each of my classes. 'Remind' is a way form me to send out texts with important information, however you cannot reply to that number. If you need to get a hold of me personally please feel free to contact me at the high school during my planning period from 12:40 - 1:30 or by email. Your child was given a letter explaining how you can sign up to receive my notifications from 'Remind'. If you need another copy please let me know.
